Blog #70: Letter

Dear Future English 110 Students,
There are a few pieces of advice that I would like to share with you regarding this class. I know that a lot of people say that this is an easy class, which it can be if you do everything you are supposed too. I know that my writing has improved and I feel more comfortable sharing my writing. I advise you to stay on top of all of the assignments, especially the commenting and the blogging because those are easy points. I also recommend trying to find a section that interests you and take that section. I did not know that there were different sections and topics, but I ended up liking the section I was in. I also recommend that you take advantage of the writing center, both the walk in and the hour appointments. I know that I had class during most of the walk in times, but I wish I had scheduled more appointments for the hour tutorials. The writing center can really help you with anything regarding your paper, whether it deals with grammar or organization or even to help you with ideas for your paper. I really regret not using the writing center more often, especially since you can get one point extra credit for every time you go. Also, I recommend that you attend class because most of the things covered in class will help you with your papers, blogs, and other assignments. I really learned a lot from going to class. Lastly, I recommend that you actually spend time on your papers the first time around because it could save you a lot of time during finals week. Good luck!
